About Me
I have reached retirement age but I am carrying on working because I enjoy what I do. I still have lots of enthusiasm and energy. I am a Trainer with additional expertise as a Functional Skills Tutor (Literacy & Numeracy) & NVQ Assessor. I have lots of experience of delivering Employability, Customer Service & ICT programmes for Jobcentre Plus & DWP. I am also available as a Private Tutor. I recently gained my SIA (Door Supervisor) Licence.
Who I'd Like to Meet
I guess I am looking for intelligent chat pals & email pals, preferably attractive & female. I find there is often more to talk about when chatting with fellow professionals or people who live fairly locally.
Hobbies & Interests
I try to keep fit by walking and going out on my mountain bike. I also enjoy DIY and gardening. I am also very interested in cars and drive a 4x4. I use the internet to research my family history and chat to my friends.
Favourite Books
I do not read as often as I used to but I do enjoy reading 'spy' novels written by the likes of John LeCarre & Len Deighton. I like the poems of Ralph de Tunstall Sneyd (He was a druid from Staffordshire).
Favourite TV Shows
I always look forward to watching the old classic detective programmes such as Morse, Lewis, Frost & Taggart. I also like watching Foyle's War.
Favourite Films
One of my favourites is 'Goodnight Mr Tom'.
Favourite Music
I play guitar and I love blues music. When driving I tend to listen to music from the 60s.
Favourite Quotes
Luck is the meeting of preparation & opportunity. To be a leader all you need is someone to follow you.
